The food industry is an incredibly tough market to break into. With thousands of new products launching every month, there's a lot of competition for attention. Well into their first week, the product already launched on Kickstarter when their team came to us for help. Our job was to get the project moving asap.
They purchased the Worldwide Plan ... a one-time push to relevant reporters in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and more. We wrote a great pitch for their project and reached out to our personal media contacts and relevant reports from our network of over 1.2 million global reporters.
The results were immediate. Within 2 business days of reaching out to our contacts, the Imperial Spherificator was featured in Gizmodo and New Atlas. The write-ups were incredible. Articles in Mashable, the Huffington Post, CNET, Digital Trends and tons more followed.
Press and blog coverage drove the Spherificator's visibility and numbers way up. We generated the bulk of their press their second week on Kickstarter. During that time they raised $110,000 of their $191,000 total. The success of their campaign has opened up a lot of doors. They can now be found at Bed Bath & Beyond, Wayfair, Walmart and more.
